How we choose the firms we introduce

Yarmouth Clearance is an introduction service. We do not employ clearance crews or operate vans from a depot in Great Yarmouth. When you request help, we pass your details to one local firm. That firm is responsible for the quote, the work, and any waste they remove.

What we look for

Coverage of Great Yarmouth and nearby places (Gorleston, Bradwell, Caister and surrounding areas as confirmed with the firm).
For jobs where items are taken away as waste: current waste carrier registration with the Environment Agency in England (upper tier for commercial carriage of other people’s waste). We check the public register. We are not the regulator and we do not give legal advice.
Willingness to contact customers promptly and to treat sensitive jobs (including bereavement and probate clearances) with discretion.
A clear distinction between move-only work (you keep the items) and disposal work.

What we do not do

We do not claim to hold a waste carrier licence ourselves.
We do not invent reviews or job photos.
We do not send your enquiry to a list of traders. One enquiry goes to one firm.
We do not promise same-day attendance as if we dispatch crews.

If a firm pays for introductions

Some firms pay us for qualified introductions. You do not pay Yarmouth Clearance for the clearance or the move. Any fee for the work is between you and the firm.
